Our Mission Statement
At Senator Allan Bird Memorial School, we walk together (i-mamawi – wici pimohtimakwaw) with our students (okiskinwahamawakanak), families (nisakihakananak), ikwa community (nitihtawinan) to support life-long learning that honors ninihithawi-pikiskwiwinan ikwa culture (nitisihcikiwinana) by connecting land- based (askiy-pimatisiwin) experiences ensuring every learner feels seen, heard and empowered to succeed. ML Fishing Derby Fundraiser

Join us for the Montreal Lake 18th Annual Walleye Derby on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Montreal Lake, SK! With over $246,500 in prize payouts, including a $100,000 grand prize, this exciting catch-and-release competition is one of the biggest fishing events of the year.
